Brianna grew up in Fresno’s back yard— the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. She spent her childhood climbing trees, playing in creeks and sleeping under the stars. She carried her love for nature and the outdoors into her adulthood, where it has impacted and shaped her career.
Brianna worked for the Forest Service as a Wildlife Technician and volunteered as a docent at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. While finishing her degree she worked as a Development and Resource Management Intern at Fresno City Hall. In the midst of raising three beautiful and rambunctious boys, she graduated from Fresno State with a bachelor’s degree in Geography.
Brianna currently works as a Tree Ambassador for Tree Fresno, and has since started experiencing bouts of dendrophilia (a.k.a. “love of trees”). She holds to the philosophy that, “The greatest oak was once a little nut who held her ground.”
